Dear friends!
26 November – 3 December 2007 there was 2nd tour of the prayer trip of the Prayer Wall of the Caucasus around North-Caucasian republics.

The purposes of the tour:
the prayer in unity in order that the House of God would become the House of Prayer for all nations.
– to set a new fire of prayer in hearts
– every believer should stand for his family, pastor, church, city and country
– prayer for Israel in order that the Church would come to the knowledge of the role of Israel and the salvation of Jews in the last times.

Appeal to pastors and intercessors

Dear pastors and intercessors!

We all have heard the prophecies about our land. If we want them to come to pass we need to be alert like Daniel, who having calculated the number of years of captivity of his people, began to fervently pray that his people would be delivered of captivity.

This tour was not only the prayer walk. It was a real active power, which, as we believe, broke a pathway into the spiritual world and now the God's Spirit can come to our land! That is why we ask you not to stay aside from what God wants to do in the land of the Caucasus! We hope that you would continue to take an active part in the prayers for the Caucasus and Russia!

The program of the tour consisted of:

1. Prayer for the region and the churches

2. Prayer for Israel and salvation of Jews

3. Prayer for Russia, unity of churches and communities

The tour's route went through the following republics:

  • Karachayevo-Cherkessia: Ust – Dzheguta, Dombay with ascend to the mountain top by funicular

  • Kabardino-Balkaria: Nalchik

  • Northern Ossetia – Alania: Vladikavkaz

  • Went through Ingushetia

  • Chechnya: Grozny

  • Dagestan: Makhachkala, Derbent.

In the bus there were 25 intercessors and pastors from 16 churches, 11 cities and 2 settlements. Locally 311 people took part: 32 churches, 22 pastors from 17 cities and 3 settlements. Totally in the second tour took part about 340 people, 48 churches, 23 pastors from 28 cities and 5 villages.

All the participants of the tour were inspired by what God was doing at every service and during prayers for each region. We can see that local prayer brings a great fruit.

One of the fruits is that a real unity in the spirit is being built which is also a big practice for all the participants of the tour. We saw that locally there can be touched and inspired more people than at conferences conducted in certain cities.

Because only two-three representatives of a church would come to a conference and it was not easy for them to bring the message across to their church. But when we come to the local church, then hearts of many people can be set on fire.

Totally in the two prayer tours took part 790 people, 74 churches, 42 pastors. The intercessors were from Moscow, the Ukraine (KJMC) and the USA. Every participant paid his expenses himself. Local churches paid for food and living. Praise God for everyone who sacrificed his time and finances. The first fruit of the tours:

1. In Karachayevo-Cherkessia there was the first pastors' fellowship after a long break.

2. Interchurch night services began in several regions: in Rostov region, Karachayevo-Cherkessia, Stavropol region.

3. Many intercessors rose to a new level of prayer both in time and quality.

4. The intercessors from other regions were able to see the local situations, which helped them to pray real, with all heart, understanding what is happening in their regions.

5. The tours promoted strengthening of mutual understanding between churches and people.

6. The tours promoted the personal growth of those intercessors who were in the bus all the time, it promoted a breakthrough in their prayer life. It can be said that these two weeks were as effective as three months of the prayer school.

We are expecting other testimonies of God's work in the land of the Caucasus after these prayer trips. Write us. With great pleasure we will publish your stories on the pages of the information bulletin of the Prayer Wall of the Caucasus and at our site www:godsm.org

We wish you blessings in your works for God and in the cause of spreading the Kingdom.
